Its support team walks non-technical users through restores with real patience, which families value at exactly the worst moment. The honest comparison with Backblaze: Carbonite uploads slower, video files need manual selection on the basic plan, and external drive backup costs extra. It works, dependably, just with more asterisks than its great rival.
