Be clear about what it is not. This is not backup in the classic sense. Nothing on your computer or phone gets protected, there is no backup agent and no version history, and a sync job will faithfully mirror deletions if you configure it that way. You also grant it access to every cloud account you connect, and the company is younger and less documented than the household names here, so weigh that trust question. As a migration and consolidation tool that runs alongside a real backup, it does a genuinely useful job.
