Internxt (Valencia, Spain) combines the two features people ask us about most, pay-once lifetime plans and default zero-knowledge encryption, in one product. Lifetime 2 TB sells around $299 and drops far lower in its frequent promotions. Subscriptions exist too. The client apps are open source and independently audited, photo backup and sharing cover the basics, and the company has grown steadily since 2020. There are honest counterweights. Sync speed and app polish trail the leaders, the feature set is lean, and lifetime deals from younger companies carry inherent longevity risk. We rate it a strong choice for a second copy, not the only place you keep your files.
