Proton Drive extends the Proton ecosystem (Mail, VPN, Pass, Calendar) with storage encrypted end-to-end by default: not even Proton can read your files, and the company’s Swiss base keeps it outside US and EU data-request reach. Plans run from a free 5 GB through Drive Plus 200 GB at around $4.99 a month, to Proton Unlimited at $12.99 which bundles the entire ecosystem with 500 GB. Photo backup on mobile, sharing, and the desktop apps have caught up well since launch; deep integrations and office-suite collaboration remain thinner than Google or Microsoft. For privacy-first users it is the cleanest complete answer.
