About Proton Drive
Proton Drive extends the Proton ecosystem (Mail, VPN, Pass, Calendar) with storage encrypted end-to-end by default. Not even Proton can read your files, and the company’s Swiss base keeps it outside US and EU data-request reach. Plans run from a free 5 GB through Drive Plus 200 GB at $2.99 a month on a yearly plan ($35.88 a year, partner offer; new users can try the first month for $1), to Proton Unlimited at $9.09 a month on a yearly plan ($109.12 for the first year, partner offer), which bundles the entire ecosystem with 500 GB.
Photo backup on mobile, sharing, and the desktop apps have caught up well since launch. Deep integrations and office-suite collaboration remain thinner than Google or Microsoft. For privacy-first users it is the cleanest complete answer.
